Fantasy Rugby Tips, Picks and Pre-match Thoughts – Aviva Premiership Round 15

Another (slightly truncated again I’m afraid as the Fantasy Rugby Geek is again on “day job duties”) of our weekly pre-match updates where we analyse the weekend’s lineups, crunch the stats and see what the bookies are thinking to help you optimise your lineups for peak performance this weekend!

Potential mismatches

The Aviva Premiership is here this weekend with several teams shorn of their top talent due to international duty and so opportunities will be provided for upcoming talents and certain out-of-favour players looking to cement their place in the first team. There are some very exciting match-ups lined up this week including several games with the potential for big fantasy returns. In the eyes of the bookies, there is one stand out fixture in Round 15 with the potential for a big victory, with Northampton hosting the all but doomed London Irish…

In Paddy Power’s eyes the most nailed on game this weekend with a projected winning margin greater than 10 is…

  • Northampton to beat London Irish with a margin of 11 points

Elsewhere, the following odds have been given…

  • Leicester to beat Quins with a margin of 7 points
  • Wasps to beat Exeter with a margin of 5 points
  • Saracens to beat Sale with a margin of 4 points
  • Newcastle to beat Bath with a margin of 3 points
  • Gloucester to beat Worcester with a margin of 3 points

Expected to go well

No player list this week, but go big on Saints players, in particular our captain pick Ahsee Tuala, who will be expected to run the Irish defence ragged.
