Fantasy Rugby Tips, Picks and Pre-match Thoughts – Autumn Nations Cup 2020 Round 1

Last update: 14:30 on 13th November 2020

Welcome to our first instalment of our weekly pre-match updates for the inaugural Autumn Nations Cup. This is where we analyse the weekend’s lineups, crunch the stats and see what the bookies are thinking to help you optimise your lineups for peak performance this weekend!

By the time you finish this article you should have all the insight you need to score big fantasy points this weekend.

A couple of things to note…

Firstly on the fantasy games, it looks like the only game in place for the Autumn Nations Cup is on SuperBru, so head on over there and get your teams sorted. There is also an FRG league in place there, no prizes, just for fun and honour amongst your Fantasy Rugby brothers and sisters! Go here to join

Secondly, it now appears that France v Fiji has now been cancelled. So all France and Fiji players have been removed from these weekly picks…

The Rugby Magazine + Restart Rugby

Today The Rugby Magazine have announced an excellent initiative to support the RPA’s charity, Restart Rugby

This season, the Rugby Magazine have teamed up with Restart, the official charity of the Rugby Players’ Association, and will donate 50% of every upgrade within their Premiership fantasy game. They are aiming to raise enough money to pay for their confidential counselling service for six months, but with the players of the Rugby Magazine’s help, the aim is to cover it for the full year. In this, we as Fantasy Rugby players have the chance to give back to those who give so much to us.

ICYMI, FRG on the FRD Podcast

In case you missed it, your humble FRG editor appeared on the Fantasy Rugby Draft podcast this week alongside Sam Roberts and FRD Founder Bruce Wilkinson to run the rule over the new Premiership season. Give it a listen below or check it out on the usual Podcast platforms…

Also keep an eye on your Podcast feeds next week as I will also be appearing on the Fantasy Rugby Yanks podcast, recording as we conduct the 2020 Champi-yanks league Draft!
