First of all a very happy new year and a huge thank you to all the readers of FantasyRugbyGeek.com for your continued support of the blog.
I’m now 18 months into this Fantasy Rugby blogging journey, and the growth of this site in 18 months is entirely down to you, the readers. Your feedback and support from all over the globe continues to spur me on. So I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you and to share with you some of the plans for a huge 2019 in the world of Rugby…
In the coming months, Fantasy Rugby Geek will be providing…
- Our usual exhaustive coverage of the Six Nations including pre-tournament stats, pre-tournament reviews of all the games, tournament previews, our tips and picks (including under-the-radar picks) prior to each round, prize leagues and not to mention the good old stash watch
- Our coverage of Super Rugby will return with pre-tournament reviews of all the games, weekly tips and picks, prize leagues and yes, maybe a bit of stash watch
- The Gallagher Premiership will remain a regular fixture with weekly tips and picks, Fantasy Rugby Draft play-off strategies and interviews with the winners as the season reaches it’s conclusion. Our exhaustive coverage of Prem Rugby will return again for the 2019/20 season. Taking on your feedback, the weekly tips will now also include an overview of potential free agent bargains, and FRG will also aim to find and surface all sources of all-important injury news.
- Coverage of the Heinken Champions Cup will continue leading through to the Final in May. The Champions Cup will remain a core part of our offering in the 2019/20 Season.
- FRG will be going all in on the 2019 Rugby World Cup with some detailed tournament previews of all teams, strategy overviews to ensure that you maximise your points in the group stages where the tournament is won and lost (from a fantasy perspective at least!), pre-tournament reviews of all the games, our tips and picks throughout the tournament, prize leagues and more. Can’t wait.
- Prior to the Rugby World Cup, FRG will also be releasing the second FRG e-Book, the Fantasy Rugby Geek Guide to the 2019 Rugby World Cup, to ensure that you have all the advantage as possible to dominate your RWC private leagues
- The FRG Social Platforms on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter will continue to feature the FRG Pick of the Week and FRG Player of the Week
Finally, with a new year here, here at FRG, I would like your help…
The First Annual FRG User Survey
At FRG I want to provide the best insight and resources for Fantasy Rugby players across all competitions and fantasy games around the Rugby world. Only you, the readers of FantasyRugbyGeek.com, can provide the real insight as to what is of most value. As a result I would be hugely grateful if you could spend a quick 5 minutes to complete this reader survey. It should not take long to complete and the results will help to shape the direction of the blog in 2019. It’s a chance for you to highlight any areas where you think FRG can be improved and also for you to highlight any areas that you would like FRG to focus more on.
The survey can be found here: https://goo.gl/forms/IrpCmTCFFGqZOwEi1.
Thanks again for all your support,
Cheers,
The Editor
