Fantasy Six Nations 2021 Preview – Ireland

With Saturday 6th February 2021 fast approaching, it’s time to delve a bit deeper into this year’s potential fantasy Six Nations stars. So over the next two weeks FRG is providing a quick preview of all the teams from a fantasy perspective. Today we look at Ireland…

Ireland

In a nutshell

Ireland under Andy Farrell in 2020 were hit and miss; comfortably the 3rd placed side in the Northern Hemisphere over the year, but still coming short against France and twice against England in the Six Nations and Autumn Nations Cup.

With several key players returning from injury in time for the Six Nations and a good draw with the two front runners in England and France playing at the Aviva, Ireland have every chance of shaking up the predictions and returning to the world beating form they enjoyed in 2018.

They remain strong with exceptional fantasy talents all over the park. Despite the injury to Jacob Stockdale, they can still call on tried and tested talents like Garry Ringrose, Jordan Larmour and CJ Stander as well as those newer to the international scene in James Lowe, Caelan Doris and Hugo Keenan. As always, the Irish will a base fruitful for talent to build your fantasy teams around.
