Fantasy Rugby Tips, Picks and Pre-match Thoughts – Guinness Six Nations 2020 Round 4 (Part 2!)

Welcome (back!) to our latest instalment of our weekly pre-match updates for the Guinness 2020 Six Nations where we analyse the weekend’s lineups, crunch the stats and see what the bookies are thinking to help you optimise your lineups for peak performance this weekend!

By the time you finish this article you should have all the insight you need to score big fantasy points this weekend….

How the games are dealing with the restart…

Firstly, with the tournanment picking up mid-round 4, here’s how the various games are approaching things…

The Rugby Magazine

The Rugby Mag will be resuming as if Round 4 was in progress, so when you log in you will see the gameweek live with the scores from England v Wales and Scotland v France and with the Irish and Italian players yet to score. You are free to make unlimited changes to the Irish and Italian players ahead of this weekend’s game, and then ahead of Round 5 you will be free to make unlimited changes again.

The Irish Times

On Thursday we received confirmation that they will be treating Ireland v Italy as a Round 5 game (potential with Italy and Ireland having a “double game week”, it is also confirmed that they will be offering 8 transfers ahead of Ireland v Italy.

Superbru

“Round 5” on Superbru will be Ireland v Italy only and then there will be a further “Round 6” for Wales v Scotland, Italy v England & France v Ireland. Ahead of this weekend there are unlimited transfers and you will be allowed 8 players from each team.

ESPN

The ESPN game was a bit shambolic since the start of the tournament and, in news that will be of little disappointment to most, they have confirmed that the game officially ended after the Scotland v France game and there will be no further continuation of their fantasy game after the restart.

The Official Game

There has been no official statement from the Official Six Nations game as yet, and we await further information.

What will go down…

Just one game this weekend, it seems simply a case of loading up with Irish players! The bookies are expecting a comfortable win with Ireland at home, giving them a 28 point margin of victory!
