England Deaf Rugby international Ben Lawniczak

Ben Lawniczak is an international rugby player for the England deaf Rugby team, and he is appealing for help to get him on a ‘chance of a lifetime’ tour to South Africa. Ben has been selected to play for the England deaf Rugby squad for their tour to South Africa in May 2020 and each player has been asked to raise £1,500 to go on the tour. Ben said: “It’s the chance of a lifetime to go over there and play one of the top three southern hemisphere teams. I’ve been lucky enough to be chosen to go on the tour but we have to raise £1,500 each to go to South Africa and that will cover costs such as accommodation, travel and all sorts. I’m looking at all sorts really – anything will help.” To help Ben’s fundraising activities, he has set up a league on The Rugby Magazine with a £5 entry fee which will be sent to Ben’s Paypal account. The prize for for the winner will be 50% of the total prize pot, with the rest of the funds going towards achieving Ben’s goal of getting on to that plane to South Africa.

To support Ben or for further information, email him on ben.lawniczak@hotmail.com, whre he will give you the Paypal details and will send you the league information when you have paid.
